This was my second time coming here and I enjoyed it just as much as the first. The little shops are so cute and there’s so many unique things like jewelry and snacks to look at and buy. There’s several places to eat at which we didn’t try but plan to in the future. There’s also a small plant shop with a fair selection and other goodies. A tattoo shop there just opened up called India. We went there and got tattoos so if you’re into that, go check them out. This is definitely a gem of Akron.

What a fantastic idea and operation that supports and promotes the growth of the small business community. The concept is fresh and very exciting! I organized a content event for small business and the space is truly packed with notable people and space to snap a good (evergreen) photos. Thanks to Justin for allowing me, and 10ish other small business owners, to this brilliant space! We will be back!

This place is so unique, and diverse! You cannot believe the amount of shops and storefront in here. Thai rolled Ice cream, beers on tap, Akron honey company, a miniature DeVitis shop, A coffee shop, tons of clothes, art, jewelry. Everything is local, and lots of it is handmade! Plenty of room to hang out, and rubber city clothing is attached! There is also a virtual reality spot, haven’t tried it yet but it looks amazing! You could spend your entire evening here for sure getting your shopping done, and just generally hanging out. I’m looking forward to seeing what this place continues to grow into!

Wow! This place is awesome! It was the perfect location for our group to visit before an event in Akron. So many great food options and shopping. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating to our large group. We will be back!

This is an amazing area in Akron. Inside this marketplace are tons of local artists selling their hand crafted products as well as local products being made to sell. Honey, baked goods, toys, jewelry, gifts, clothing, & so much more. If you need a gift idea for someone that's hard to buy for this is a great spot to find something. Edited to add I purchased a few fragrance oil roller balls from Touch of Alyvia located inside & they arrived quickly & they were packaged incredibly. You can smell her amazing scents inside the marketplace. These oil roller ball scents last so long. I sampled one on my wrist & could still smell it the next day. Highly recommend this local business!

We had the BEST visit at Northside!! The variety of vendors, the character of the location, awesome treat and food options, it was a great destination to support local! What a treasure and can't wait to go back since everything updates with the seasons!

The North Side Marketplace is a charming concept that allows local businesses to showcase and sell their products. It features numerous displays for different vendors, creating a vibrant shopping experience. Inside, you'll find several food options, a clothing store, and even a little plant shop. It's definitely a cute place to stop by, explore, and see what they have to offer. My fiancée picked up a nice crew neck sweater from the vintage store and fell in love with the location. The parking is decent, and the atmosphere is modern, up-to-date, and very clean. Overall, it’s a delightful place to shop, look around, and enjoy!

Very nice calm environment, with a variety of different things to shop from. Even a place you can stop and get a cup of coffee or even an adult drink. Food smelled amazing!

We love to shop locally. This space offers a unique experience for specialty items. Personally, I never leave without some Akron Honey. I just found their new Apple Cinnamon flavor! Can’t wait to try it!

I love the Northside Marketplace — it’s truly one of Akron’s hidden gems. The location is great and it’s filled with amazing local shops, including a strong presence of Black-owned businesses, which I love to support. Hands down, the best soul food in Akron is right here at The Plannerz Place Eatery. The food is consistently amazing and always worth the visit. It’s also a great place to meet people and hang out — there’s a bar inside called Nomz- drinks are reasonably priced. Liquid Lab for boba tea, and Essential Dipped Delights right next door to The Plannerz Place for something sweet. Perfect for date night, grabbing drinks with your girls, or even meeting up for something work-related. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Akron.
